The laboratory of the mass spectrometry and chromatography in TSABAM

The interdepartmental analytical unit (in Hebrew abbreviation, TSABAM) was established to provide analytical support for faculty members several decades ago. Over the last decade, the analytical capabilities of the unit expanded significantly, and today TSABAM comprises three departments, - the laboratory of microscopy, the ICP laboratory, and the laboratory of mass spectrometry and chromatography.

This site is dedicated to applications of analytical mass spectrometry. We position ourselves as the mass spectrometry laboratory for the analysis of "small molecules" that cover a broad range of organic compounds and exclude synthetic and biopolymers (proteins, polysaccharides, etc.). Several applications developed in the laboratory were selected to demonstrate the sort of analytical services that can be received in TSABAM. We provide support and offer a variety of analytical services to both researchers from the faculty and clients from other academic institutions or industries. While the challenging scientific and laborious projects are reserved for the users "at home".
